To transfer your domain from your current registrar (GoDaddy, Yahoo, etc.) to Ovaleye follow these steps:

You will need to know...

• What the domain(s) you would like to transfer are.
• Where they are currently registered, or the name of your current registrar (I.e.GoDaddy, Network Solutions).
• Your Username and Password for accessing the domain control panel at your current registrar.

Now, let's get started!

1. Ensure that your domain administrator contact information is correct and up to date.

This information is usually located somewhere near your domain information in your control panel where you can easily edit it.
2. Get an Authorization Code.

This will be found in your current hosting panel in the domain name section
The authorization code is emailed to the contact on you admin section.
3. Unlock your domain for transfer

You can do this through your current domain hosting panel.
4. Email the following information to Ovaleye for transfer and your whois contact information via the Support Ticket in your Ovaleye Account page:


• Authorization Code
• Registrant name, Address, Email, Phone
• Domain name

Once everything is done our registrar will email you to ask for your approval with this email address: Transfers@srsplus.com. This could take a few hours or it could take a few days. Towards the bottom of the email it asks you to click on a link and approve the transfer. It usually takes about a week after that to be approved by the online registry.

Note: Transfers take about a week and the last step of a transfer is propagation to our servers for a short overnight outage. Ovaleye monitors this step very carefully.
