Why is using a signature in your forum posts important? When posting in forums you are creating user generated content that search engines love! It is constant updates and contains relevant information to the topic at hand. As the search bot roves the site it will find certain key words and index them while visiting the external links also listed in the forums. Optimize your signature by using relevant keywords to where the url will take you. For example- http://www.ovaleye.com's hyper text would be OvalEye- Small Business Host or OvalEye- Affordable Website Hosting
