Using the Scripts module from above:
- drag and drop the module to the desired location (your first page or your .com/home.php, etc page)
- Assuming you have copied the Embed code from a source such as Youtube, Vimeo, or Viddler continue with steps 3 and 4 from above.

Before clicking ok to have the video automatically begin when someone loads the webpage add: &autoplay=1 to the end of the source url.

It will look something like this
... embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wb_u18bcjeI&hl=en&fs=1&rel=0&color1=0x006699&color2=0x54abd6&border=1&autoplay=1" ...

Fantastic point- yes, most video sharing sites offer some form of tracking services where you are able to see the amount of views your video has at the least.

For example, Youtube offers users "Insights" on each video you upload. This works even on video that plays off of your website. You are able to view "Insights" when you are logged into your Youtube account. You can also view the view count (viewers can also see this) on your video's Youtube page. Read more on how Youtube Insights can benefit your business by measuring results on your video marketing effort here.

Well that is not good :) So you have pasted the code you have copied from the Embed form from Youtube directly into the Script Module box - clicked OK - then clicked PUBLISH after you have made your changes?

You won't be able to see the video unless you have published and it is live online.

You are welcome to post the Script you are trying to add for us to make sure it is complete too. It sounds like this might just be an issue of clicking Publish.

We are happy to help :) 877-OVALEYE.

I'm in a similar situation. I have used the script module to link to a streaming site that held all of my videos. That site is now having some problems, so the videos just show up as errors on my site. I now want to just keep the videos on my host's server and stream them from there. Does the script module accomodate that? If so, how?

Awesome question and kudos to you for saving your video files, not simply relying on a free service to continually host them for you!

The script module should accommodate that if you have a hosted flash player and your videos are hosted. I will do a little research on your best options and write a more in depth post on the how to's of this.

In the mean time, if you are more than welcome to give us a call in the office at 877-ovaleye and chat with Kathy.
