Reworking Some of our Copy

Ovaleye is putting in extra hours in reorganizing how we keep track of our web hosting members, refining our company handbook, and putting some finishing touches on web conferencing and VoIP packaging plans for 2012. We are also playing with some of the copy on our website. I wanted to share with you an unedited piece that my mom (business partner and Chief Decision Maker), Kathy Nelson, wrote a while ago on why she founded Ovaleye.

Let me first start with...

I was never a fan of James Spader growing up. While I wasn't a teen in the 80's (born in 1985), I did grow up with a mother who was one. As a fan of Mannequin, Pretty in Pink, and Baby Boom James Spader was the bad guy. He was the out-of-touch with reality, snobby, rich kid that threw Kim Cattrall into the trash compactor. Boston Legal was on while I was in college, so the only other instance of Spader I know of is Stargate, the movie (nerd alert- our family watched Star Wars, Star Trek and Sci-fi movies like Stargate long before they were cool).
